What is Grow Greek Tourism Online
Grow Greek Tourism Online is an initiative by Google in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), and the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE). Its goal is to help businesses enhance their digital marketing skills by offering free online courses as well as workshops in various regions across Greece.
Who is it for
Despite what the name might suggest, the program is not just for tourism businesses. It is designed for all types and sizes of businesses, demonstrating practical ways to benefit from digital advertising trends.
Experience and Response
We enjoyed a morning buffet with coffee, juice, and cheese pies, and at the entrance we were given stylish pens and notebooks. The conference hall at the University of Ioannina’s Technology Park was packed. Students, professionals, and colleagues attended with great interest and asked questions to the Google representative.
